On-Demand Streaming Overview

HTTP LargeThis platform has been optimized to cache and deliver static content (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ISO, multimedia, and software downloads, etc.) over HTTP or HTTPS.

On-demand streaming allows media to be streamed to your end-users as they request it. The basic steps in this process are listed below.

  1. Media is stored on CDN storage or a customer origin server.
  2. A link to the media is provided to your users.
  3. The media is streamed to users via our network as it is requested.

Basic Configuration Overview

Basic configuration of on-demand streaming simply involves the following steps:

  1. Upload content to an origin server.
  2. Set up a media player and point it to the above on-demand content.
