Purpose: Identifies requests that originate from the specified countries.

A country can be specified through its country code. An option is provided to indicate whether this condition will be met when the country from which a request originates "Matches" or "Does Not Match" the specified value(s).

Replicating Country Filtering Behavior

This match condition allows you to perform a multitude of customizations based on the location from which a request originated. For example, the behavior of the Country Filtering feature can be replicated by adding the following to a rule:

Tip: Instead of duplicating the exact behavior of the Country Filtering feature, use criteria other than location to determine whether a request will be allowed. For example, prevent the playback of Flash videos in a particular country. Alternatively, combine these match conditions to prevent Flash videos stored in a particular location from being viewed in a particular country.
