Media Ingest and CDN Object Storage underwent end-of-life on 11/12/2018. Content may no longer be streamed via Media Ingest and content uploaded by your encoder to CDN Object Storage is no longer available. This article is still available in order to provide assistance while you migrate to a new streaming workflow.
All content within CDN Object Storage must be contained within a bucket. A bucket defines a space within CDN Object Storage to which content may be uploaded, deleted, and retrieved.
Key information:
Your customer account number and a dash will be added as a prefix to the name of the new bucket.
Syntax:
A sample bucket name for a customer with an account number of 0001 is shown below.
The content within a bucket can be deleted at any time.
Typically, an encoder automatically deletes obsolete content according to its configuration.
The contents of a bucket may be retrieved by submitting a GET request to its root directory.
