CDN Object StorageThis service was discontinued on 11/12/2018. This storage solution is designed to store content on behalf of the Media Ingest feature.

Media Ingest and CDN Object Storage underwent end-of-life on 11/12/2018. Content may no longer be streamed via Media Ingest and content uploaded by your encoder to CDN Object Storage is no longer available. This article is still available in order to provide assistance while you migrate to a new streaming workflow.

Our CDN Object Storage service is designed to support our Media Ingest streaming service by providing storage for HLS, HDS, and DASH content.

A stream may be:

Uploaded to CDN Object Storage by an encoder via a HTTPS POST or PUT request.
Played back by a media player via the HTTP/HTTPS GET requests.

In addition to providing high availability and speed, our CDN Object Storage service allows quick and easy encoder and media player integration.

This storage service is only supported on the HTTP Large platform.

CDN Object Storage is not compatible with our other streaming services. These streaming services are designed to play back content stored in standard CDN storage.
